The Sacramento Dance Collective is organized by Amy Sigil, a mover, choreographer, and group coach from Sacramento California. The Collective includes movement artists with various backgrounds featuring raqs sharqi, studio hip hop, flow arts, fire, and fusion elements.
About
Hi, I am Amy Sigil, a choreographer who loves working with teams and novel ideas. I enjoy bringing movement to people in a variety of settings to facilitate team building, self-understanding, and growth. I created a style of group improvisation called Improv Team Sync, practiced by dancers all over the globe. I aim to create safe and inclusive space for all bodies. Corporate Team Building
As a former ball player turned dancer I have a unique desire to bring people together as a team through movement and coaching.
I have had the pleasure of leading workshops for Dr. Robin Johnson of UCLA, Fiscal Operators of Massachusetts University, Hill Country Health & Wellness Center, and the offices of Robert Half, to facilitate and celebrate the connectedness of staff.
